How you can help CYTR

WANTED

Canadian Yorkshire Terrier Rescue is looking for Dog Lovers to help with various
Services: pro bono, of a Lawyer - Incorporation, Non Profit/Charity Status, etc,
and a Non Profit/Charity Accountant.  
 

  Help CYTR without becoming a volunteer 

  1. Donate items for our Spring, Summer & Fall Garage Sales

  2. Donate dog supplies. We are always in need of coats, booties, kennels, crates, X-pens, food, coupons, leashes, lupi's, harnesses, collars, bowls, panties, etc..

  3. Make a monetary donation.  Email CYTR to inquire how to donate.

  4. Donate your Canadian Tire Dollars

  5. Please redeem & donate your Esso Extra, Pioneer, Petro Points etc., for Gas Coupons to allow us to fund transporters to save more small dogs in need

  6. Hold your own Garage/Yard sale with proceeds to CYTR.

  7. Share your creativity like skills at woodworking, crocheting, sewing, knitting, etc.

  8. Perhaps you could make something to sell on ebay or in exchange for donations at dog shows and other events under CYTR.
 

  Help CYTR in many various tasks as a volunteer 

 
  1. Transports; Transporting to and from the vet, between foster homes or to their forever homes.
  2. Foster Homes; If you have time, space and patience to take care of a rescued Yorkie or mix until they find their way into a loving forever home.
  3. Reference Checks; verifying information on Applications, calling references
  4. Home Visit & Placements; meet with potential adopters & members
  5. Newsletter Committee; create a newsletter as to who we are and what we do and to keep CYTR Adopters up to date on the happenings of CYTR.
  6. Public Relations; distributing flyers, helping at shows, events, placing Ads, & general public education.
  7. Intake Co-ordination ; Help us Liaison with Shelters, other rescues, vets, pounds etc., to coordinate Rescue Efforts
  8. Fund raising; Become part of our Fund Raising Committee
  9. Creative new items; Share your creativity like skills at woodworking, crocheting, sewing, knitting, etc.
  10. Research & Development - Help us become the BEST Rescue effort
