Dearest
Sir "Tetley" Rotherham, born August 23, 1995, ended his struggles
with
rabies miasma - obsessive
compulsiveness, auto-immune disorder, and overall his
itchiness, due to Immunology
Therapy, on May 29th, 2003 peacefully. No longer in pain and frolicking at
the bridge of colorful rainbows as he waits to be joined by the many people &
animals that have graced his presence over time as a wonderful companion,
entertainer and through his helpful Rescue Efforts. Tetley became the driving
force for the Founder of the Canadian Yorkshire Terrier Rescue to continue her
efforts in the face of adversity. Born to perform every trick in the book
for a scratch behind the ear or cuddle, he always tried to put his Best Paw
forward in the public's eye to please. He knew rescue needed the money to help
other dogs and was the first one to step up at Events to perform his talents for
a small donation!! Tetley...you will always be loved.

Princess was a fighter from the beginning........ she will be
sadly missed and her spirit and memory will endure.
Princess came to rescue with many health issues but her feisty spirit and
her determination were immeasurable. She unfortunately lost her battle January
27th, 2004 and will be sadly missed by all of us at CYTR.

Alessandra's family ensured that she enjoyed a Princess
life-style, through-out her 14 years. A kind, 3 lb, sweetie that lived it up
puppy-style. Through life's inevitable art of aging she finally passed on to
the Bridge of Rainbows, January 4th, 2003. She shall be greatly missed by her
family and all others that were drawn by her charm....

Aurora
was a sweet, adorable and wonderful miniature longhaired dachshund. She had the
most wonderful personality, even if she was a little stubborn. She had been
abandoned in a parking lot in Aurora, ON with rotting teeth and very large
mammary tumors. She was not expected to live through the week, but, Delia and
Rod came into her life in 2002 & through the help of Rescue her tumors were
removed and they managed to salvage one tooth. She was often called her a
"one-tooth wonder". Despite her only having a single tooth, which resulted in
having her tongue constantly hang out the side, that never stopped her zeal for
food or for life. Anyone who was willing to pet her, was immediately her best
friend. She taught her family allot about what absolute love was really all
about. It didn't matter to her who you were, she loved everyone the same. On
October 22, 2003 our dear sweet friend passed on. The cancer that we had thought
she had beaten had returned. She hung on until the very end. She will be
incredibly missed by all those who were privileged to know her and she will
continue to live on in our memories. Good bye my sweet Aurora. May you find
your way home and may joy greet you at the door.
