Canadian Yorkshire Terrier Rescue (hereinafter referred to as “CYTR”) is a
rescue and does not breed puppies.
CYTR rarely has puppies
available for adoption.
All CYTR available dogs are
fostered
in private homes. There is no shelter for you to visit or view
the dogs.
Please refer to the
Adoption Process page and the
Available Dogs page if you
are interested in adopting a CYTR rescue dog.
If you are looking to buy a
Yorkshire Terrier
puppy to add to
your family, please research the Yorkshire Terrier breed and
research the breeder you are planning to purchase from. It should be a long term
relationship between you both.
Use the links on the top of
this page to start your research about responsible breeders, puppy mills and
backyard breeders. Do not stop your research here; the more educated you are
before you buy a new puppy
the better choice you will
make.
A puppy is a commitment of
time, money and patience; the reward you will reap from choosing a well
bred puppy
can be monumental.
